E-ZPass [ē'zē pās] The easiest (eziest?) way to fly through toll booths in a land riddled by toll roads. Pre pay and this little sensor lets you use the fast lanes, instead of using those slow-as-molasses cash lanes full of people that can't follow simple directions, such as having their cash ready.
How did I function before you came into my life? Seriously, how?!

Man, you live in such a different world than i do!!
In Austin, if you are driving in a car without a toll tag the "fast lane" takes a picture of your license plate and then sends you a bill for $1.35 or whatever you owe the streets because they let you drive on them.
JEALOUS?
I'll admit, when you have your toll tag you DO get a discount.
I'll tell you what you did without them. You lived in Utah and you didn't pay tolls!
In regards to Lindy's comment, in Orange County, CA they not only take a picture of your liscense and send you a bill for hte toll, but an additional Fine. I think mine was $50 or $75. Course I think I passed the same place twice. But still. It sucked. And I got made fun of. SO I'm glad you don't have to deal with that out there.
Those are so great, I had it in Denver too! But it was just for one freeway, do you have a lot that you use out there?
Oh man poor Anna! California does NOT like people using the "fast lanes" without prior authorization. I'll punch it next time I see it!
We mock the people having to stop and PAY cash! Ours seems free because we don't have to slow down. Pretty snazzy if you ask me!
seriously, every time we see that looooong line of cash payers (with NJ/NY/PA plates no less!) we think why why whyyyyy? it's a no brainer.
I LOVE ez-pass!!!
