Whitney is right. I am insanely jealous. Best I've done playing softball with my company this season has been grass stains diving for balls in the outfield. Those knees are beautiful. Almost as good as the deep cut over your eye a year and a half ago. You rock, bro! I wish I could grow up to be like you.
Boys will be boys. I don't know why they play games when they know their body will get thrashed! I mean, girls don't do that. I had a friend once (a boy) who bragged that he got 4 concussions in one football game! Yikes. I'm glad that Doug's team won.
I'm thinking you should buy him a Dora the Explorer helmet, they come with elbow guards and knee guards.

I wish medical school was as easy as dental school. Then maybe I'd have some time to play football in my spare time (which I currently have none of)...
