early talent

I have a degree in English and I now work as a copywriter and editor. Any talent I had for writing started early as you can see from these cards I once made for my grandparents:

(Fotsday=Father's Day, OF COURSE)

Pure genius, if I don't say so myself.

Those are so cute!! Even at a young age you still spell better than Jerome. His notes would make you cringe. ;0)

You should send those in to Hallmark.

Also, I do want to note that your handwriting hasn't changed much.

Ha! I could totally tell that you wrote those...I always thought you should make cards - remember me hounding you to send some into Hallmark?

Speaking of...I haven't had a card made for me for many moons. What's the scoop?
